CMJTS was awarded a $6,000 grant from the Initiative Foundation to kick off the Focus Group Project.
CMJTS is proud to announce the launch of its innovative Focus Group Project, which is funded in part by the Initiative Foundation, a regional community foundation. The project goals are to identify community needs and enhance program development to better serve the local population.
The project is designed to engage a wide range of participants, including youth at risk, public assistance recipients, low-income adults, dislocated workers, people with disabilities, people of color, second-chance individuals, job seekers, local businesses, and partner organizations. This diversity ensures that all voices are heard, fostering open and constructive dialogue and creating a sense of collaboration.
CMJTS aims to gain invaluable firsthand insights through these focus groups, highlighting successful aspects and areas needing improvement. The project will identify community needs using structured interviews, surveys, and facilitated discussions to ensure diverse voices are heard.
Project success will be measured by identifying common themes and community needs across the target groups, enhancing understanding of the effectiveness of current programming, and increasing engagement and collaboration between clients, stakeholders, and CMJTS in addressing community needs.
CMJTS is committed to working closely with the community to ensure that the programs developed address the population’s unique needs, leading to a more inclusive and comprehensive approach to programming.
