First Citizens Bank’s generous donation directly benefits youth with disabilities, youth of color, and economically disadvantaged homeless youth. This critical support enables us to provide hands-on career exploration experiences, exposing young individuals to exciting, high-demand, well-paying careers. Through our program, participants engage in career pathway projects, business presentations, and tours and receive instruction in in-demand career pathways such as healthcare, trades, automotive, manufacturing, and agriculture.
In addition to career-specific activities, participants receive coaching and guidance to aid their general career development, allowing them to make informed decisions about their future. Following the Operation Exploration camp, youths can pursue work-based learning experiences, service-learning projects, or credentialed training tailored to their needs, with the continuous support of our career navigators.
