Central Minnesota Jobs & Training Services (CMJTS) is thrilled to announce Troy Gilbertson’s appointment as the Adult Program Manager.
With over 20 years of remarkable professional achievements in nonprofit service and higher education, Troy Gilbertson brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. His successful career has been defined by a commitment to developing people and fostering positive organizational change. Troy is widely recognized for his strategic thinking, exceptional leadership, and communication skills, and proficiency in teaching, development, and project management.
Before joining the CMJTS leadership team, Troy served as a dedicated Career Navigator, where he skillfully managed a caseload of adult clients, providing invaluable assistance in identifying strengths and overcoming challenges to secure long-term employment and achieve self-sufficiency.
Previously, Troy spent 14 years at Bemidji State University (BSU), undertaking various roles, including Interim Dean for the College of Health Sciences and Human Ecology, Department Chair, and teaching faculty member. Throughout his career, Troy has consistently demonstrated a passion for developing and supporting individuals, guided by principles of inclusion and respectful interactions.
Troy is eager to continue his mission of nurturing and empowering individuals in his new capacity as Adult Program Manager. He firmly believes in transparent organizational planning and prioritizing stakeholder outcomes and is committed to upholding the values of stewardship and responsibility.
