Electrolux, Faribault Foods, and HTI Dislocated Workers
The staff at Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc. (CMJTS) recognize that this is a difficult time for those workers being impacted by the scheduled layoffs occurring at your location. CMJTS would like you to know that you do not have to walk through this transition alone, professional staff called “employment specialists” are here to guide the way. There are services available, free of charge, to help you along your journey to your next job.
CMJTS staff will provide Dislocated Worker Program services to those impacted by the layoff. There are no fees to participate, and the program provides opportunities for training, career counseling, résumé assistance, financial support, and more. This program is funded by state and federal funds. And, you can get started now!
Your employment specialist will help integrate your personal goals, and our unique knowledge of the local labor market, to assist you in a career change. The sooner you meet with a CMJTS employment specialist the better!
The First Step – ENROLLMENT
From the beginning of the enrollment process, CMJTS believes in an individualized approach to serving dislocated workers. Your ES will meet with you one-on-one in the CMJTS office location of your choice, or onsite at your place of employment (if appropriate) until closure occurs.
