Central, MN – The Region 3 Leadership and Planning Board of Central Minnesota (members of Career Solutions board and Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc. board) is proud to announce that Nahan Printing, Inc. has been recognized with the Inclusive Workforce Employer (I-WE) Designation for their commitment to and development of an inclusive and equitable culture within their business and the region. Congratulations to Nahan on receiving the Inclusive Workforce Employer Designation.
Nahan is a full-service direct marketing and print solutions provider. Our portfolio of services includes strategy, creative, data, analytics, print production, mailing, logistics and fulfillment services. Founded in 1962 by Jim and Helen Nahan, the company established a strong reputation for providing high-quality direct mail and commercial print and exemplary customer service. What was then a 15-person, family-owned print shop is now home to over 400 employees, including industry-leading experts in direct marketing strategy, data, analytics, creative, and more.
The I-WE designation was created to recognize and promote inclusive employers, reduce regional disparities and bring awareness to the value and methods of increasing workforce diversity.
In order to receive the I-WE designation, each participating employer had to meet four criteria:
- Express a commitment to an inclusive workplace in their stated values, mission or policies.
- Assess how diversity, equity and inclusion influence their work and culture.
- Provide diversity, equity and inclusion education for staff and leadership.
- Allocate resources to support and sustain an inclusive and equitable workplace.
The I-WE designation was made in partnership with the Region 3 Community Inclusion Council (CIC). The mission of the CIC is to champion a robust and diverse workforce that meets the needs of regional employers. Employers with the designation will be promoted to career seekers throughout Central Minnesota and partners in CareerForce MN. For more information about the I-WE Designation, click here.
