The DEI Youth Program serves young and emerging adults, ages 14-24, with visible and non-visible disabilities, including those with chronic health conditions and those experiencing racial disparities. DEI Youth incorporates participant-driven Individual Resource Team meetings, to increase coordination among service providers, family members, and other players from each participant’s support network. In this way, the DEI Program makes it possible to enhance the services provided by other programs. It gives CMJTS the opportunity to dedicate additional resources to participants and better support them as they embark on career pathways and pursue meaningful employment.
