MYP services youth ages 14-21 who fit the following eligibility requirements:

• Pregnant or parenting youth
• Youth with limited english proficiency
• Potential or actual school dropout
• Offender or participant in diversion program
• Public assistance recipient
• Receives group home services
• Disability
• Chemically dependent
• Homeless or runaway
• Basic skills deficient
• Foster child
• Economically disadvantaged
• Educational attainment of one or more levels below grade level

Eligible youth can receive summer and/or year-round work experience (depending on funds available) at local nonprofit organizations. MYP provides youth with valuable jobs skills, which help prepare them for the workforce.
